Description
Here for auction is a unique part of the past history of baby strollers.This was made by whitney reed corp,of Leominster,Mass. That company was in the business of producing prams carriages and other products,but in 1903 was bought out by a philadelphia,pa company who then only made toys.So this pram is over 100 years old. It measures-46 inches tall to top of cover, 30 inches tall for just the carriage, 48 inches front to rear of handle, 14 inch wheels, 20 inches across. NOW FOR THE NOT SO GOOD PARTS---First,there is finish worn off from the handle with discoloring,the rubber on the right rear wheel is cracked and missing some very minor pieces,someone has also painter the front wheels also the rubber on those 2 wheels,there is some minor darkening color to the carriage in different area's from age,,other then that,its very presentable. Now keep in mind,this is a antiques,and by NO means am i saying this is great shape,but by all means,i feel for its age,its in very nice shape,and is a fine peice of history,and even still useable for a pram made in the late 1800"s !!!
